3rd Form French Unit 2

Use the following exercise to test yourself on the French for leisure activities.   The answers will be in the INFINITIVE form each time.

Remember you can combine these activities with "je vais", "nous allons" etc to say what you are GOING TO DO in the future.  E.g. je vais jouer au foot = I am GOING TO PLAY football.

Download Aller + infinitive

You can also use them after the verb "pouvoir"  to say what you CAN do e.g. on peut visiter un musée = one CAN visit a museum.  Je peux aller en ville = I CAN go into town.

Here are the Task Magic files which you can use to revise train and train station vocabulary.

To view them you will need to download the "For home use only" version of the Task Magic software.  To do this go to http://www.mdlsoft.co.uk/ and then from the menu bar on the left hand side click the button "Home use only" button. Et voilà!

3rd Form French school vocabulary

Here is the vocab list which you need for the test on Thursday 29th January.  Make sure you know the genders and how to spell the words in French.  Note how un/une becomes de or d' after a negative and the difference between LE cours (with "s" even when singular) meaning lesson and LA cour (no "s" in the singular) meaning playground.  Some of the vocab test will be from English to French and some from French to English.
